About Me
Hi, I’m Edel. Psychologist and performance coach.
I work with executives, founders, and high performing professionals who perform under pressure and are ready to stop paying for performance with their nervous system.
PhD Performance Psychology | Olympic-level environments | EMDR • Schema
I’m drawn to high performers because I see what most people don’t:
how capable people can look calm on the outside while carrying a constant internal hum of responsibility, self-monitoring, and pressure.
It can show up as overwhelm, reactivity, overthinking, imposter syndrome, or that relentless feeling of: “It’s all on me.”
Not because you’re fragile, because you’re operating at a level where the stakes are real.
My approach
My style is direct, strategic, and deep. High performers don’t need fluff. They need traction.
That means we don’t just talk about what you’re doing—we change what’s driving you when you do it: perfectionism, over-control, threat sensitivity, “not enough,” and the patterns that make success feel heavy.
Two ways to work together
1) Personal Psychology (18+)
For burnout, chronic stress, anxiety patterns, trauma responses, perfectionism, mood strain, and deeper identity loops.
2) Performance Coaching
For high performers who are functioning but not free. Confidence under pressure, decision-making, execution, leadership presence, consistency, and recovery.
I also have a special interest in coaching high-performing women, particularly those carrying the invisible load of leadership, responsibility, and perfectionism.
Services
No vague mindset talk. No endless processing. We work with precision so change shows up in your decisions, behaviour, and nervous system.
Performance Coaching
This is for you if:
you want to perform at a high level without overthinking as a default
you want leadership presence without people-pleasing or self-silencing
you want confidence that holds when the stakes rise
What we build:
pressure routines, decision frameworks, and recovery systems
a repeatable way to execute without self-criticism as fuel
identity-level confidence (not “pep talk” confidence)
Personal Psychology
This is for you if:
stress is now showing up as sleep disruption, anxiety, shutdown, panic, or numbness
burnout cycles keep repeating (push → crash → guilt → push)
old experiences are shaping your present responses more than you want
What we work on:
nervous system regulation + triggers
perfectionism/over-control patterns at the root
trauma responses and the “not enough / all on me” belief loop
